I first learned the art of dressmaking beside my Great Aunt Dot, sitting together in her living room surrounded by flowered fabrics and stacks of vintage patterns. Those afternoons sparked my love for handmade design and storytelling through cloth. My earliest creations were born from those moments—each piece made using original patterns from the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. These designs carry forward a family tradition of care, creativity, and connection stitched into every seam. The pictures below are the dresses that I designed and handmade. The photographs are taken by Ryan Booker Photography.
